I just activated the new Facebook profile and timeline, and honestly it is pretty damn cool. Especially the timeline. It basically turns your Facebook life into a sort of digital scrapbook that you can browse by year. I am going to watch the F8 Keynote and learn about the other features, but the new profile will definitely going to shake things up a bit. But I see Facebook as a service becoming more useful to people long term with this timeline feature because people love their memories.
Apparently in this charming small town Ohio the customer isn’t always right.
I think these people might need to read Tony Hsieh’s ‘Delivering Happiness’ or Gary Vaynerchuk’s ‘The Thank You Economy’

My Dinner: Scallops with citrus butter, herb roasted potatoes, braised fennel & tomatoes
For my birthday tonight Sarah got us the “Rain Man” suite at the Renaissance Hotel in Cleveland and took me to one of the best restaurants in the city: Sans Souci which is where we had dinner the day we officially got together in 2006 🙂

We’re back in Ohio because Sarah has a couple weddings to shoot. So we’re visiting family & friends in between that. Tonight we went out for Sushi with a bunch of friends at Samurai Japanese Steakhouse in Sandusky, OH. It’s a local favorite, and while it is one of those Hibachi places with the Teppanake (sp) show, they have pretty great sushi and it’s cheap too.
