Sushi Night With Ohio Friends

We’re back in Ohio because Sarah has a couple weddings to shoot. So we’re visiting family & friends in between that. Tonight we went out for Sushi with a bunch of friends at Samurai Japanese Steakhouse in Sandusky, OH. It’s a local favorite, and while it is one of those Hibachi places with the Teppanake (sp) show, they have pretty great sushi and it’s cheap too.

sfsff crowd — The crowd was crazy all day long. 4 city blocks and some side streets. They said between 50-60K people!

peached tortilla tacos — Banh Mi and Pad Thai Tacos from Peached Tortilla. Probably my favorite food of the day.

skillet — Southern style fennel crusted fried chicken sandwich. Great.

Korean Spicy Pork Sausage — Spicy Korean BBQ Pork Sausage over some sort of Kim Chi slaw. Like a spicy asian bratwurst.

vietnamese beef — Vietnamese beef over rice noodles, wrapped in lettuce, with Sriracha hot sauce.

Claire's Squares — Claire's Square's "Saturdae. Organic vanilla bean ice cream with caramel over shortbread. Dead simple and delicious. 🙂

Thanks for checking out my site. You may follow me on twitter, google plus, or Facebook, but I’ve decided I really need my own site to be the hub of my online world. This site will post to my social networks and bring people to my site. I think I post some good stuff so I want a record of my posts, not a feed that disappears from people’s view in minutes.
